Position Overview:
As a Junior Wireman, you will play a crucial role in the wiring of security systems, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and automation devices. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the security industry and gain hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in wiring and installation of alarm systems, CCTV cameras, automation, and access control systems.
Work under the guidance of senior technicians to learn best practices and techniques.
Ensure all wiring installations are completed according to safety standards and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Support the team with troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks for existing security installations.
Keep accurate records of work performed and report progress to senior staff.
Qualifications:
Valid PSIRA registration is a requirement. ( Must Have )
Basic understanding of wiring principles.
Interest in security technology and a desire to learn.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
A proactive attitude and eagerness to develop technical skills.
