Recently, TV show host Ammaarah Petersen visited Hirsch’s Somerset West to arrange a film shoot in the store. PRO Jane-Ann Coetzee suggested that she use their fully equipped LG Kitchen, and Ammaarah did her first shoot on the 11th July in store. She will launch her cookbook in November and all meals will be prepared and shot at Hirsch’s Somerset West. She will also train 4 unemployed/unskilled women how to cook healthy, wholesome and delicious food in a period of 30 days. They will learn the correct cooking techniques of grilling, frying, boiling and roasting, how to sell them and how to generate an income. This programme will start on the 1st August from Monday to Friday.
