Assessment package for struggling learners:
1. General Scholastic Aptitude Test (Verbal and Non-Verbal)
2. PARAS reading assessment (includes punctuation, vocabulary, memory and comprehension)
3. PARAS Spelling assessment
4. Mathematics Assessment (includes speed of work and speed of processing)
5. Written Report
6. If necessary - motivation to the Western Cape Education Department for concession for extra time during tests and examinations
Many learners have difficulty within school and are not offered the appropriate support.
There are a wide variety of learning difficulties, so much so that it is often difficult to pinpoint what the issue may be.
This assessment package helps to identify the areas within academia that the learner may be struggling in and uses background information, personal history, and corroborative information to provide suggestions as to which areas the learner may be struggling most with, as well as remedial suggestions.
