SUPERVISOR / PRODUCTION MANAGER - BAKERY (FIRGROVE)
Our client, an established bakery in Firgrove, specialises in German gingerbread biscuits also known as Lebkuchen. Handcrafted from their secret family recipe that has been handed down through generations, offering a wide range made from high quality ingredients.
Pick Me Recruitment is seeking a Supervisor / Production Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate is a highly disciplined and organised individual with attention to detail and the ability to establish and implement systems that work in a highly pressurized production facility (bakery).
Diploma in Production and or Manufactory or related will be beneficial.
A minimum of 3 – 5 years previous experience in a supervisory role in the bakery / manufactory industry, is essential.
Strong business and financial acumen, excellent inter-personal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, direct, monitor and maintain discipline within a team of approximately 15 co-workers.
Command of Xhosa would be advantageous with a home base closest to Firgrove, Somerset West, with independent reliable transport.
In the Supervisor / Production Manager role, you oversee and manage the team and the manufacturing process. As Supervisor you plan, organise, and monitor workflow on the production floor. You constantly seek to improve employee efficiency to maximise production output and profits, ensuring quality is upheld during all phases throughout production ensuring HACCP standards are adhered to. You ensure production floor is clean and safe for all staff members. Your position also includes directing, disciplining, training, and assisting lower-level manufacturing employees in a factory setting.
REMUNERATION:
R15000 - R25 000
